The ticket agency StubHub has launched the "Take Off Your Boots" campaign to collect shoes for the charity Soles4 Souls, and is giving away free tickets to the U2 360 Tour.

The campaign comes to Los Angeles on June 14, where at least 150 pairs of tickets to the June 17 U2 concert at Angel Stadium in Anaheim will be given away to those who donate. Another 100 pairs will be given out for the June 18 concert.

The shoe collection takes place from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, 6801 Hollywood Blvd. There is a limit of one pair of U2 tickets per person donating a pair of new or gently used shoes, while ticket supplies last.

Last year, after U2 postponed their tour, many fans who purchased tickets through StubHub could not commit to the rescheduled shows. Fans were able to return their tickets and receive their money back. Because it is StubHub's policy not to resell tickets, these returned tickets are now being used to encourage charitable giving through the Take Off Your Boots campaign.

Soles4 Souls, a Nashville-based charity, collects shoes and distributes them to people in need. Since 2005, it has given more than 13 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes to people in over 125 countries.
