Stella Mouzi recently came under scrutiny for getting close to a fellow model on the red carpet at the 2011 L.A. Fetish Film Awards.Mel Gibson may be what women want, just not this woman.
Stella Mouzi, the beautiful, gothic model recently linked to the "Braveheart" star, is speaking out about their relationship which she claims is absolutely non-romantic.
"I came to the U.S. from Greece a few months ago and was charmed by the American hospitality," she told People. "I made many new friends including Mel Gibson, with whom I share merely a friendly acquaintance."
Over the past month, Gibson, 55, and Mouzi had been seen and photographed together all around L.A. - at the Sky Bar on Sunset Strip as well as Gibson's home for a barbeque - leading some to believe the two were an item.
But it looks like the seemingly unwarranted spotlight was too much for Mouzi.
"It has been difficult to be the subject of false rumors, which have also been hurtful to my friends and family," she continued. "I am a dancer, performance artist and a photographer ? that is the extent of my professional life."
"They're 100 percent just friends," Gibson's annonymous pal told the magazine.
If so, this will be the second of Gibson's foreign lady love relationships to go under. His relationship with Russian-born Oksana Grigorieva infamously fell apart last year with leaked audio tapes confirming Gibson's abusive nature.
Maybe it's time Mel tested out domestic waters.
