Jason Reitman and Michele Lee wed in 2004 and welcomed a daughter two years later.Another Hollywood marriage bites the dust.
Jason Reitman, who is best known for directing "Thank You for Smoking," "Juno" and "Up in the Air," has decided to part ways with his wife of seven years, writer Michele Lee.
Reitman, 33, filed divorce papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court last week, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple's split, according to TMZ.com.
The Academy Award nominated filmmaker and his soon-to-be ex co-wrote the comedic short "Consent" in 2004, the same year they wed. Two years later, they welcomed their only child together, daughter Josie.
Reitman, who is the son of "Ghostbusters" director Ivan Reitman, will release his next film, "Young Adult" (a comedy-drama written by Diablo Cody and starring Charlize Theron and Patrick Wilson), later this year.
