Derek Hough's step-dad isn't surprised Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole was unfaithful to wife Cheryl.

'I didn't find it unbelievable that Ashley cheated,' says Aaron Nelson.�

'Part of the reason great athletes perform at high levels is that they have higher levels of testosterone.'

Cheryl, 27, become close to Dancing With the Stars pro Derek, 26, following her messy divorce from Ashley, 30, but Chezza never stopped loving her ex-husband.

Aaron just hopes the Girls Aloud star can find happiness she seeks.

'It may take Cheryl a while to find real love,' he tells the News Of The World.

'It could be the one beyond Derek, the one beyond Ashley.

'I hope she finds someone who respects her in a proper way.'
