Jason Segel revealed a photo of his heavier self on Thursday's episode of the 'Late Show.'Jason Segel didn't need a mirror to realize he'd gained some weight. He needed a photo.
The 6-foot-4 star revealed on Thursday's "Late Night with David Letterman" that he recently slimmed down after his assistant helped him reach his "lowest moment."
Segel, 31, explained that he was filming a movie in New Orleans, which has "the best food and booze anywhere."
"I really took advantage of it," he told Letterman, admitting he had ballooned to 245 pounds.
The turning point came one morning when his assistant came into his hotel room to wake him.

But first, she ended up taking "a bunch of pictures to show me what I had become," Segel recalled.
Letterman displayed one of them, in which the "Bad Teacher" star could be seen passed out on his back with food wrappers on his chest and near his face.
"That's Taco Bell," he explained, adding that the photo shows him at his "worst point."
Segel and Letterman both took note of the actor's large gut that was hanging out of his shirt.
"Honest to god, Jason, this looks like a crime scene," Letterman quipped.
But Segel was inspired. He's since shed 25 pounds. So how did he do it?
"It's like exactly what you think it is and it's horrible," he said. "You just, like, exercise and eat less and don't drink very much."
