The third time is apparently not the charm for Peter Frampton, who has filed for divorce from his third wife, Christina Elfers, after 15 years.
Peter Frampton, 61, has filed documents in a Los Angeles Superior Court to terminate his marriage of almost 15 years to his third wife.
Frampton asked that his estranged wife, Christine Elfers, receive physical custody of their teenage daughter.
The singer and guitarist cited the normal irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Frampton and Elfers wed in 1996 and split on New Year?s Eve 2010.
