Justin Bieber has plans to ask Selena Gomez to marry him.
The teen heartthrob, 17, who's been holidaying in Hawaii with his girl, was so shocked by pal Sean Kingston's jet ski accident in Miami at the weekend, he's been thinking seriously about his future.
'Justin's really worried about Sean and has been saying life's too short to wait for the right moment or to not follow your heart because people think you're too young to know what you want,' an insider tells Now.
'He's not in any rush to head down the aisle but after such a fantastic time in Maui together its really cemented how he feels about Selena and is hoping she'll agree to say yes.
'It's her 19th birthday in July and he's planning to propose to her at a birthday party he's organising for her.'
Justin is relieved that Sean, 21, now seems to be on the road to recovery.

The Unfortunately Named Twitter Scandal Ridden Anthony Weiner
We typically don?t report on sex scandals involving politician?s, but the Anthony Weiner Twitter controversy is just too damn good to pass up.
New York Rep. Anthony Weiner has hired a lawyer after a ?prank? on his Twitter account caused a lewd photo of an unidentified man (the photo was of a man?s lower half in boxer briefs) to be posted and directed at a 21-year-old female college student from Seattle.
A spokesman for the congressman called the incident a ?prank,? and said Weiner was considering ?civil or criminal actions.? ABC News reported that it was not clear whether Weiner was considering an individual investigation.

The Twitter post appeared on Friday and was quickly deleted, but not before conservative website Biggovernment.com got a hold of the scandal. Weiner denies any hand in the incident and dismissed the case as one of simple hacking. ?I was hacked. It happens to people,? Weiner told CNN on Monday. ?This is a prank, not a terribly creative one, and it?s a distraction.?
You thought that might be the end of it, of course it isn?t?
A conservative blogger (via Gawker) has dug up tweets from porn star and stripper Ginger Lee who claims Weiner sent her a private message.
On March 13, Lee tweeted ecstatically, ?you know it?s a good day when you wake up to a [direct message] from @RepWeiner. (I?m a fangirl, y?all, he?s my trifecta of win.)? In a follow-up tweet, Lee explains that Weiner ?thanked me for the shout-outs and said he likes my blog? in the message.

Robert Tucker has filed a lawsuit against Andy Dick after he degraded him and humiliated him as he performed as ?Daphne Aguilera? at Trees club in Dallas.
Tucker claimed that Andy ?pulled down his costume skirt with his right hand, exposing the fact the he was not wearing underwear beneath the skirt.? Robert then said Dick quickly rubbed his genitals on the side of his face.
Robert Tucker claims he suffered emotional distress and defamation as a result of the incident.

Nick Cannon says he ''can't stop smiling'' when he wakes up next to his ''dream girl'' Mariah Carey and one-month-old twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe.
Nick Cannon says Mariah Carey is his "dream girl".
The 'America's Got Talent' host - who became a father for the first time last month when the singer gave birth to their twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe - is amazed by how fortunate he has been in his personal life and says he has never been happier now he is a dad.
When asked if he wakes up in disbelief that Mariah is next to him, he replied: "Every single day. Every time - I - and especially now, because it's on a whole different level because it was like, 'Ooh, I have my dream girl and this is amazing.'
I'm loving it, man. I can't stop smiling. It's an amazing thing to look down and see miniature yous looking up at you and stuff.
"But now, like, to actually have a family and to look down and see children that look like both of us, it's, it's surreal, man.
"I'm loving it, man. I can't stop smiling. It's an amazing thing to look down and see miniature yous looking up at you and stuff."
Nick explained Mariah has always been his "celebrity crush" and he was determined to be in a relationship with her and, when they met three years ago, was thrilled to find she was not the diva people had previously claimed.
He told TV talk show host Piers Morgan: "I mean, I've always loved her. I've always been a huge fan. I would say I've spoken into existence because that was like my celebrity crush. And when I met her for the first time, I thought, 'Oh, I'm going to have to meet this diva and I'm going to have to do this.'
"I mean, she was so down to earth and so normal and so regular - and a lot like I was."

Olly Murs and Caroline Flack have reportedly been confirmed as the new presenters of ITV2?s Xtra Factor.
Just one day after ITV confirmed the judging panel of their new X Factor series, they are said to have appointed two hosts for it?s spinoff show for the first time.

Man who barricaded himself in Whittier home in custody
WHITTIER - A 20-year-old Whittier man was in custody this morning, suspected of shooting another man in the leg and barricading himself into a home near the shooting scene for almost four hours, a Whittier police officer said.
The crime took place at about 8:15 p.m. on Monday, in the 9100 block of Bright Avenue, Officer Mike Dekowski said.
The suspect, identified as Juan Sosa, allegedly shot the victim in the upper left thigh and then ran into a nearby home, Dekowski said.
Whittier police and L.A. sheriff's deputies set up a perimeter around the home, he said. Just before 2 a.m. today, they sent a police dog through the perimeter.
Sosa was found inside a storage shed, and gave up without incident, Dekowski said. He will face assault with a deadly weapon and other charges.
The victim, whose name was not released, was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has stable vital signs, Dekowski said.
The motive for the shooting was not known.

One thing that could certainly cause panic at the disco would be to break your ankle in a gruesome fashion. Luckily for fans of the band Panic! At The Disco a softball sized broken ankle didn?t prevent lead singer Brendon Urie from finishing his set at a tour stop in Florida over the weekend.
Thanks to everybody and their brother owning a high quality phone that takes video this did not go unrecorded. Actually I don?t have the moment of breakitude but I do have the wicked reveal by Brendon as he removes his sock to give the fans a glimpse of the painful situation he was in. Check it out!

Kris Smith's mother is ''gobsmacked'' about her son's trial split from Dannii Minogue, and says the couple are ''desperate'' to sort out their problems for the sake of 10-month old son Ethan.
Kris Smith's mother hopes he can save his relationship with Dannii Minogue.
The couple - who have a 10-month-old son Ethan together - are reportedly attempting to save their three-year romance for the sake of their baby, and are "desperate" to sort out their problems, with the former model flying out to Melbourne, Australia, for crisis talks with the singer.
Kris' mum Elsie told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I hope it's just a trial split. I know they will do everything to save their relationship for the sake of their son.
"Ethan will be foremost in their minds while they're going through this - he has to be hasn't he? That baby means the world to them both. This has come as a total surprise. I'm just gobsmacked."

However, 39-year-old Dannii has hinted about the strains in their relationship on twitter.
She tweeted: "Never chase love. If it isn't given freely by another person, it's not worth having.
"Forgiving someone does not mean forgetting what they did. It simply means letting go of the hurt."

Roger Taylor, 61, the drummer for rock band Queen, confirms he has serious hearing loss after playing drums for over 40 years.
Taylor told Britain?s Sunday Express, ?I guess it was inevitable and hardly surprising given what I?ve been doing for the past 40 years? The sound levels on stage were so loud with all that constant banging and smash, smash, smash; it did untold damage to the fine nerve endings in the inner ear, though it is worse in the left, which is the side of my snare drum and the monitor.?
Taylor, who now wears hearing aids, admits he finally sought help after his wife Sarina realized there was a problem.
He adds, ?She was the one who kept pointing out that the TV volume was up too loud, though I could only just hear it. Then I kept missing out on dialogue in films and at dinner parties and social gatherings I couldn?t understand what people were saying. It felt strange and frustrating to a point where I was starting to lip-read. I realised my hearing wasn?t what it should be.?

Prince Harry Goes Clubbing With Princes Eugenie [PHOTOS]
Prince Harry and his cousin Princess Eugenie (you remember her Royal Wedding hat) were seen leaving their favorite nightclub with drink stains covering their clothes. They were spotted leaving the club at 2:30 a.m. this past Friday night (May 27, 2011) looking quite disheveled.
The club is already known for its wild reputation and doesn?t need any more negative publicity. The favorite night life hotspot has already been in trouble for the rowdiness and lewd behavior of its patrons. It could have its license revoked if things don?t improve.

Of the embattled nightspot, politician Mark Daley said, ?I have had complaints that people were doing some very unpleasant things including having sex, vomiting, urinating and defecating.? That doesn?t sound pleasant for people who live or own other businesses in the area.
I somehow doubt we?ll be seeing Prince William and Kate Middleton at the club any time soon.

Brad Pitt has hinted that he and sexy actress Angelina Jolie may tie the knot after being together six years!
Brad Pitt revealed in a recent interview with USA Weekend that their six kids would like their parents to be married.� The handsome actor hinted that a wedding may be in his future.
Pitt stated, ?The kids ask about marriage. It?s meaning more and more to them. So it?s something we?ve got to look at.?
The actor also adds, ?I never knew I was capable of experiencing so much love. There are no secrets at our house. We tell the kids, ?Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.? They go, ?Eww, gross!? But we demand it.?

"It was perfect! From the ceremony in beautiful white, to a vibrant after-party and great music selected by Tony himself," says a source, noting the packed dance floor. Reportedly, 600 guests attended.
Cowboy players past and present, such as Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austi, as well as team owner Jerry Jones, were seen helping the couple celebrate their nuptials in the historic building tucked in the city's Oak Lawn neighborhood, reports Dallas's KDAF-TV.
Crawford, a pageant queen and KDAF-TV anchor (as well as the younger sister of Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford), received an 8-carat yellow diamond engagement ring, which features one carat of round diamonds surrounding the center stone. Her bridesmaids wore Badgley Mischka dresses.
Guests partied into the night at a reception organized by wedding planner Todd Fiscus, whose credits include New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning's wedding. Short ribs and pizza were promised on the new couple's reception menu.
"We did lots of man food," Fiscus told CBS about the menu for the big day. "I have a lot of football players to feed."
Fiscus was also responsible for the custom gift bag for the out-of town guests.
Monogrammed with the wedding couple's initials, the bag contains a Neiman Marcus gift card, assorted treats from Great One Cookies, a Mix of the Month CD by DJ Lucy Wrubel, a miniature bottle of Moet champagne, a box of Dude Sweet Chocolates, gourmet popcorn, chips and salsa, "Killer Pecans" from Bandera Foods, Voss bottled water, and an assortment of Kiehl's beauty and body products.
The couple became engaged in December, when Romo, 31, proposed to Crawford on her 24th birthday. They have been dating since summer 2009, shortly after Romo split from Jessica Simpson.
Dallas/Ft. Worth station WFAA also reported the nuptials.

Jessica Szohr on Leaving Gossip Girl: "I'm Ready for a Change"
Jessica Szohr is leaving Gossip Girl, but she's not too sad about saying goodbye to the CW series.
In fact, the actress tells me that after years of playing Vanessa Abrams on the small screen, she was ready to move on.
So what's next for Jess? And who will she stay in touch with from the cast, who includes her former boyfriend Ed Westwick?

"When I started the fourth season, I kind of had a talk with the producers," she told me this week at SoBe's Try Everything party in NYC. "We didn't know what we were going to do with the characters. After playing someone for four years, it can be a little repetitive. So I was ready for a change."
Basically, she felt she had done all she could with the character, saying:�
"I had so much fun and I made friends I'll have for a lifetime and it was so great to work in the city, but I got the most I could out of Vanessa."
But she says she's still keep in contact with some people more than others.
When I asked her if she thought she'd�stay in touch with the cast, she replied: "Probably the people I'm closest to."
Wonder if having to work with the guy she split with had anything to do with decision to move on to other projects?
It sounds like her primary focus will be on the big screen going forward.
"I have two movies that I start in August and July and I have a couple movies coming out in the next couple months," she told me of her post Gossip plans.
But she's making time for fun, too.
"I'm gonna take a trip with all my�girlfriends," she told me. "I'll probably go to the Hamptons a few times."
Just probably not the same weekend Ed Westwick is going, we'd imagine.

Dallas Cowboys? Tony Romo is set to wed sports reporter Candace Crawford this weekend in Dallas!
Tony Romo and Candace Crawford, who is a former Miss Missouri and sister to actor Chace Crawford, will have an intimate wedding at the historic venue Arlington Hall.
Romo and Candace began dating after his split with singer Jessica Simpson in the fall of 2009.
Crawford said of the wedding planning, ?Um, honestly we?re trying to keep it a very private and personal day,? Crawford said. ?I?m one of those girls that loves wedding talk, so I would hate myself right now if I was watching TV cause I?d want to hear about the details, and the dress and the flowers. ? We?re just trying to keep it really sacred and personal.?
Jerry Jones, owner the Dallas Cowboys, had to get special permission from the NFL to attend the wedding because of a rule that prevents owners and players having contact.� Jones said,?I?ve gotten special permission. Week in Review: Kim Kardashian Uses Stardom for Good, Knocks Arnold Schwarzenegger Off Front Page
K-TOWN: Good for Kim Kardashian! Sure, she didn't "enjoy being 30 and single" or bother to "take time off for herself." But she went and got what she really wanted?happiness and a guy who seems to understand that her career comes first. At least, we think Kris Humphries looks genuinely thrilled and in love, but the flash from Kim's $2 million ring has been in our eyes a lot... Either way, their wedding, come whenever it may, is going to be huge, perhaps even royally so.
And thank you, Kim and Kris, for getting engaged when you did, because...
EW: Hey, remember, not everything's all champagne and diamonds here in Hollywood. We're still reeling in the squat copped by Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose fed-up wife, Maria Shriver, is gearing up to divorce him as a second mistress lawyers up (and starts talking) and the inevitable investigation begins into whether his screwing around screwed with California's bank account (see: John Edwards). Meanwhile, his extramarital baby mama?who at least has a daughter who loves her very much?is considering suing Entertainment Tonight for airing an interview with her ex-husband that she claims is "all lies!" Jane Seymour, come to think of it, regrets ever inserting herself into the fray.
COUNTRY STRONG: Scotty McCreery, 17, edged Lauren Alaina, 16, to become the youngest guy (and the fourth guy in a row) to win American Idol. Then, in the throes of victory, he and Lauren shared an awful lot of smooches onstage, thereby relegating his win to a footnote and their apparent puppy love to center stage! But whether they stick like glue or remain just friends, the poised and newly enriched country-rooted duo appear ready to assume the position of Idol winner and runner-up for the (young) ages. (And Steven Tyler will be back, despite his "why'd he say that?" tendencies.)
END ZONE: Hines Ward became the second NFL superstar to win Dancing With the Stars, though he's the first one to do it in the prime of his career. The Pittsburgh standout is even thinking the mirror ball will look great next to his Super Bowl MVP trophy. Kirstie Alley came close, but at least she's got all those too-big clothes that need to be packed up for the Good Will to take her mind off of second place.
