Katie Price is insisting she and Argentinian model Leandro Penna are nothing more than mates - even though she's posted a Twitpic of the pair cuddling up at dinner.

Glamour girl Katie, 32, met Leandro at Elton John's post-Oscars party in LA on 28 February and the two of them got on so well, the 25-year-old hunk decided to visit her at home during a trip to the UK.

'Leandro is great looking guy,' Katie Tweeted yesterday. 'We are only friends though!'

In the photo of them enjoying a meal, the pair could easily be mistaken for boyfriend and girlfriend - Leandro has his arm around the mum of three and she's holding his hand.

'Me leandro my sister and harry having dinner having a nice time xx,' Katie captioned the shot.�

And it seems Leandro - who hardly speaks a word of English - is hoping he could be more than just Jordan's mate.

'We are just getting to know each other,' he says.

'You never know...

'I would like to keep getting to know her.

'In my country, I didn't become famous for the people I've been seeing, but what I've done.

'I have always protected the people I've been with.'
