Szohr, Momsen leaving 'Gossip Girl'
Two stars are bidding Gossip Girl adieu. Cast regulars Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen will no long be on the teen soap when it comes back to the CW in the fall for Season 5, reports TVLine.
The rest of the regular cast -- Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford -- will return, and Szohr and Momsen will appear sporadically as guest stars.
Momsen has been vocal about her desire to focus on her music career, and was placed on indefinite hiatus last fall.
