Demi Lovato said she is still working on becoming comfortable with the way she looks.Demi Lovato has vowed to work on a new campaign promoting "Love is Louder than the Pressure to be Perfect," but she apparently has no problem showing off her svelte body in a bikini.
The 18-year-old former Disney star, who admitted last month that she began suffering from an eating disorder at age 8, tweeted a picture of herself in a white bikini on Monday.
The self-taken shot shows Lovato posing in a messy room with her legs crossed and bosomy chest and flat stomach on display.
"I've been working so hard to get healthy and fit," she wrote alongside the photo. "I can't believe I'm about to do this but I'm so excited.. Here's my bikini time body!"
Lovato, who has also admitted to being a cutter before entering a rehab program last fall, told Seventeen in its May issue that she once thought her eating disorder was her "best friend."

And the cutting, she said in a recent "20/20" interview, "was a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body."
"I was matching the inside to the outside," she explained.
But that shame seems to be gone now, with her new outlook on life matching her physical appearance.
"I never thought I'd ever feel confident enough to ever to that," the actress-singer tweeted after sharing the picture. "I'm excited how far I've come since being completely ashamed of my body."
"I want any girl/guy out there who struggles with body image or confidence to know that it IS possible to find peace with yourself," she continued.
"It hasn't been easy, but it starts with a commitment to yourself.. Your mind.. And your soul," she said. "And trust me, I'm still working at it!! Haha."
In April, Lovato announced she was partnering with Seventeen and the Jed Foundation on the "Love is Louder" campaign in hopes of helping "other girls learn from my experiences."
